When starting business in 1991, we installed and maintained equipment manufactured by others. This experience allowed us to learn better ways to design and manufacture our equipment. Advances in computer technology and software allow us to create three dimensional designs and simulate operation of the entire system before manufacturing. Every system we build advances the state-of-the-art.

Energy Savings By Design
Moving air requires significant amounts of energy. A standard cubic foot of air weighs .075 pounds - that's three quarters of one-tenth of a pound. A pound of standard air (13.33 cubic feet) would fit into an average size bath tub.

Improper application of an air mover or incorrect selection of APCD technology can be prohibitively expensive for the end user. For each horsepower misapplied, it costs $208.00 per year for an 8 hour, five day work week. For each horsepower misapplied in a 24/7 environment, it costs $876.00 per year.

Proof of our success is documented on every project. See Case History #6 for an example. In addition to low maintenance, we guarantee the lowest energy footprint of any proposal you may obtain elsewhere. Power reductions typically result in fifty (50%) to seventy five (75%) percent for existing systems. Our next significant project will replace a 600 HP incinerator based APC system with our low-energy scrubber technology. Projected power reduction is expected to be 93.4% or 560 HP.

ACGIH Certified Design
Our certified designers will insure each system meets or exceeds OSHA's requirements for pollutant removal from the equipment operators specific operation such as cutting, sanding, or grinding. The importance of clean uncontaminated air in the industrial work environment is well known. Modern industry with its complexity of operations and processes uses an increasing number of chemical compounds and substances, many of which are highly toxic.

The use of such materials may result in particulates, gases, vapors and/or mists in the workroom air in concentrations which exceed safe levels. Heat stress can also result in unsafe or uncomfortable work environments. Effective, well designed ventialtion offers a solution to these problems where worker protection is needed. Ventilation can also serve to control odor, moisture and other undesirable environmental conditions.

Safety
During the last 25 years, nearly 1,000 U.S. workers have been killed or injured in almost 300 combustible dust explosions. In many cases, the entire plant was leveled resulting in loss of life and hundreds of $millions in property damage.

After the Imperial Sugar facility was destroyed by a sugar dust explosion on February 7th, 2008, OSHA sprang into action. The result was OSHA directive CPL 03-00-008 redirecting manufacturers to review their operations if they process or handle certain dusts.
